Tell us when the problem started and whether any work was recently done. An existing barrier needs to be assessed before we can recommend a repair, replacement, or cleanup. If you simply need routine panel cleaning, let us know when the panels were last serviced.

PJ Solar uses deionized water only on panel glass. We clean surface buildup and discuss a maintenance schedule based on the condition of your system. PJ recommends about every six months as a starting point, adjusted to your property and the manufacturer’s care instructions.
Bird proofing for Rosamond solar panels
We assess panel layout, roof access, existing barriers and the amount of nesting material and droppings before quoting. PJ Solar uses genuine Bird-B-Gone mesh and compatible clips fitted to the array. An on-site inspection is required for bird-proofing pricing.

Gutter and roof valley cleaning: Request removal of accumulated leaves, debris and pigeon droppings from these areas.
Solar Barrier Protection: Discuss a fitted barrier when leaves or pine needles collecting beneath panels are the concern. Regular inspection and maintenance still matter.
Bird spikes: Ask about appropriate deterrents for exposed ledges and roof ridges. Tell us where birds are landing so we can assess the location.

Can I discuss panel cleaning and roof valley cleanup together?
Yes. Mention both when requesting your Rosamond estimate so we can assess access, the condition of each area, and the work involved. Each service will be identified in the proposed scope; roof washing and debris removal are not automatically included with a panel cleaning.
How do scheduling and travel work?
We come to your property by appointment. Send your address so we can confirm availability and any applicable travel charges before booking. Photos taken safely from the ground are helpful; please stay off the roof.
