Have solar panels installed by Solar by Esmay here in Lake Havasu City? Make PJ Solar Cleaning & Bird Proofing your first call for solar panel cleaning and bird proofing.
PJ Solar has been an Esmay-approved vendor for eight years. When you are choosing who gets on your roof and works around your solar investment, that history deserves attention. So do experience, knowledge, workmanship, and the time needed to do the job properly.

What I found on this Lake Havasu roof
The photos in this article come from a real bird-proofing job. There was a dead bird with its head missing. When I got onto the roof, I found the head separately. There were also piles of droppings spilling out along the edge of the solar panels and onto the roofing.
This is the part of solar ownership that many homeowners never see from the ground. You see the panels. Up on the roof, I see the conditions around them and the work needed to address the bird problem.
Droppings accumulated along the panel edge and spilled onto the surrounding roof.
A quote based only on the number of panels does not tell the whole story. The roof layout, access, existing buildup, and openings around the array all matter. A proper assessment helps establish what cleanup and bird-proofing work the job actually requires.
The bird’s body was found with its head missing.
I found the head separately on the roof during the same job.
Esmay customers: know who you are hiring
The competing providers I am referring to who quoted half my price are not Esmay-approved vendors. That is an important difference for homeowners comparing their proposals with mine.
Before you hire someone else, ask them directly: Are you an approved vendor? What work is included? What materials will you install? What experience do you have with a roof and solar layout like mine? Who takes responsibility if there is a problem afterward?
You should be able to get clear answers before anyone starts work. My eight-year history as an Esmay-approved vendor is one reason to contact PJ Solar first.
Former SunPower customers now managed by SunStrong
If your former SunPower account is now managed by SunStrong Management, verify the service arrangements for your specific system before hiring a contractor. SunStrong took over management of many former SunPower accounts; that does not mean every contractor advertising solar services is approved or that every job is covered.
Do not assume an outside contractor’s work is authorized or paid for by SunStrong. Confirm the contractor, proposed work, and any applicable coverage directly with SunStrong before work begins. Esmay vendor approval and SunStrong service coverage are separate questions.
You can check your account and servicing information through SunStrong’s official Help Center. For solar panel cleaning and bird proofing here in Lake Havasu, contact me to discuss your roof and the work it needs.
Half the price? Compare the experience and the scope
I have had competitors come in at half my price. My response is simple: are they bringing the same experience, the same knowledge, and the same time and care to your roof?
Compare the cleanup, materials, installation method, attention to gaps, and follow-through. If a company has less experience or plans to spend less time on the job, its lower quote does not determine the value of my work.
My experience does not get cut in half because somebody else cuts their price in half.
You get what you pay for. The goal should be to have the work done thoroughly the first time, with a clear scope and someone who stands behind it.
