PJ Solar

PJ Solar provides solar panel cleaning, solar panel bird proofing and pigeon-waste cleanup in Victorville. Founded in 2017, our business helps homeowners maintain both the glass on top of their solar panels and the space underneath.

For a free estimate, call 760-590-8516, text PJ Solar, or request an estimate online. Tell us your Victorville neighborhood, the service you need, and what you have noticed at your property. Photos of the panels and any bird activity can help us prepare an accurate estimate.

Solar Panel Cleaning in Victorville

Windblown dust, bird droppings and other deposits can collect on panel glass. Buildup that blocks sunlight can reduce the light reaching the solar cells. Rain may remove loose dust, but the condition of the glass determines whether further cleaning is needed.

We use deionized water only on solar panel glass and carefully rinse accessible frame edges. PJ recommends cleaning about every six months as a starting point, adjusted to the conditions at your property and the panel manufacturer’s guidance.

Bird Proofing and Pigeon Cleanup

If pigeons are getting beneath your solar panels, cleaning the glass alone will not remove the material underneath or close the entry points. We assess the existing barrier, roof profile, panel layout, access and cleanup condition before explaining the scope of work.

PJ Solar installs Bird-B-Gone mesh and clips, fitted to the roof and array. Where old wire has loose sections or gaps, we assess the failed installation and the cleanup needed before replacement.

Learn about solar panel bird proofing. Our five-year bird-proofing labor warranty requires annual cleaning and inspection.

A Real Victorville Cleanup: Approximately 28 Bags Removed

At one Victorville home, our crew tackled more than ten years of pigeon buildup beneath the solar panels. Loose sections in the previous wire barrier had allowed birds to keep getting in.

Over two days, we lifted panels, removed approximately 28 bags of droppings, nests, feathers and debris, finished the cleanup, put the panels back, installed replacement mesh and cleaned the panels.

That was the condition and timeline for this particular property. Your estimate will reflect your own roof, access and cleanup needs. If pigeons are returning despite an existing barrier, tell us so we can check the installation.

Leaves, Pine Needles and Roof Drainage

Birds are not the only reason to inspect the space around a solar array. Nearby trees can contribute leaves and pine needles. Our Solar Barrier Protection service uses fitted perimeter mesh to help reduce debris entering beneath the panels. Periodic cleaning and inspection remain important.

We also provide gutter and roof valley cleaning and roof washing. Mention visible debris or overflowing gutters when you request an estimate.

Questions From Victorville Homeowners

What should I send for an estimate?
Send your Victorville address, the service needed, your panel count if known, and photos taken safely from the ground. Tell us whether you see birds entering underneath, debris collecting, or an old barrier coming loose.

Is panel cleaning the same as a bird-proofing inspection?
They address different things. Cleaning treats the panel glass; an inspection checks the barrier around the array. When booking, mention that you need your annual bird-proofing cleaning and inspection.

What happens after bird proofing?
