PJ Solar provides solar panel cleaning and bird proofing in Ontario, California, by appointment. We help homeowners identify whether they need the panel glass cleaned, an existing bird barrier inspected, or cleanup beneath the array.
For a free estimate, call 760-590-8516, text PJ Solar, or send an estimate request. Include your Ontario neighborhood, the service you need, and photos taken safely from the ground. If birds are entering beneath the panels, mention any existing mesh or previous bird-proofing work.
Which Service Does Your Solar System Need?
Dirty glass: If the panel surfaces carry dust, bird droppings or other residue, ask about solar panel cleaning. We use deionized water only on the glass and carefully rinse accessible frame edges.
Birds entering underneath: Tell us where you see them entering and whether wire or mesh is already installed. The space beneath the array may need cleanup as well as a fitted barrier.
Existing bird proofing: Let us know who installed it, whether any sections have come loose, and whether roof or solar work has disturbed the material. A barrier inspection is different from washing the glass.
Tree debris: If leaves or pine needles collect around the array, ask about Solar Barrier Protection and the cleanup already needed. Mesh helps reduce entry but does not make the roof maintenance-free.
Solar Panel Cleaning in Ontario
Dirt and other deposits can obstruct sunlight from reaching solar cells. Cleaning addresses the glass; it does not diagnose equipment faults or guarantee a particular reduction in your electricity bill.
PJ recommends cleaning about every six months as a starting point, with the schedule adjusted to your property and manufacturer guidance. Rain may wash away loose dust without removing every deposit, so look at the actual condition of the panels.

Bird Proofing With a Maintenance Plan
PJ Solar uses Bird-B-Gone mesh and clips to help prevent birds entering beneath the solar array. Roof contours, corners, conduits and gaps around an old installation all affect the work. We assess cleanup requirements before preparing the scope.
Our five-year bird-proofing labor warranty requires annual cleaning and inspection. Book that inspection as well as panel cleaning so the condition of the barrier is checked.

Getting an Ontario Estimate
Send your address, panel count if known, roof type if known, and photos taken safely from the ground. Describe what you see: glass residue, birds entering, loose mesh, tree debris or overflowing gutters. There is no need to climb onto the roof for an estimate request.
Tell us about any recent roof repairs or solar work, too. If another contractor removed or moved the bird barrier, that helps us identify what needs checking.
We provide mobile service in Ontario rather than a local walk-in storefront. Contact us to confirm appointment availability and any travel charges before booking.
Additional Exterior Maintenance
You can also ask about Solar Barrier Protection, gutter and roof valley cleaning, roof washing, exterior windows and driveway washing. Each service is scoped to the property.
