PJ Solar provides mobile solar panel cleaning and bird proofing across the Coachella Valley by appointment. Our coverage includes Desert Hot Springs, Palm Springs, Cathedral City, Rancho Mirage, Palm Desert, Indian Wells, La Quinta, Indio and Coachella.
Plan the visit around your property
When requesting service, include your city and let us know about gate access, property-manager coordination and whether someone will be available for the appointment. If you are arranging maintenance while away from the property, agree on access and the requested work with us before the visit.
Dust, residue and your cleaning schedule
Check panel condition from a safe location and note whether buildup returns quickly after cleaning. Rain can rinse loose dust but does not reliably remove every deposit. PJ recommends cleaning about every six months as a starting point, adjusted to the actual condition of your array, and uses DI water only on panel glass.
Pigeon exclusion and debris barriers
If birds enter beneath the panels, ask for a bird-proofing inspection. PJ fits Bird-B-Gone mesh and clips to the array perimeter and discusses cleanup of nesting material and waste. If your concern is leaves or pine needles, describe nearby trees and ask about Solar Barrier Protection. The appropriate scope depends on what is collecting around your system.
What does service cost?
Standard panel cleaning is $150 for 1–15 panels. Above 15 panels, standard cleaning is $10 per panel. Heavy buildup, overspray removal and applicable travel are quoted separately. Bird proofing requires an on-site inspection before pricing. We confirm the complete quote, scheduling and applicable travel charges for your Coachella Valley location before booking.
Keep the barrier on your maintenance calendar
For PJ Solar’s five-year bird-proofing labor warranty, annual cleaning and inspection are required. Panel-glass cleaning does not by itself confirm the barrier is intact. Report roof repairs, moved mesh or birds entering underneath when you schedule.
