Pigeons nesting beneath solar panels in Vista, California? Solar Panel Bird Proofing in Vista
The gap beneath a rooftop solar array can attract pigeons looking for shelter. Birds can leave feathers, droppings and nesting material around panels. PJ Solar installs purpose-made Bird-B-Gone mesh and clips around accessible panel edges to help block re-entry while accounting for drainage and ventilation. We assess roof access, array layout and cleanup needs before quoting.
Solar Panel Cleaning With Purified DI Water
Bird droppings and grime on solar glass may remain after rain. PJ Solar uses purified deionized water for routine solar panel cleaning without harsh detergents. How frequently your system needs cleaning depends on environmental conditions and the manufacturer’s guidance.
Local Experience and Annual Barrier Inspections
Our Vista bird-proofing experience helps us explain what homeowners should look for: gaps at array corners, loose mesh, visible droppings and evidence of recurring nesting. PJ Solar’s five-year bird-proofing labor warranty requires annual cleaning and inspection by PJ Solar under the written warranty terms.
Protect Solar Panels From More Than Pigeons
Bird-proofing barriers also help reduce access beneath panels for other animals, while regular inspection can identify leaves, pine needles and dry debris collecting near the array. PJ Solar evaluates the exposed perimeter, roof conditions and mesh fit instead of treating every solar installation as identical. We use manufacturer-compatible Bird-B-Gone mesh and clips without drilling into solar-panel frames.

How Much Does Vista Solar Bird Proofing Cost?
Price depends on measured linear feet around exposed array edges, the number of array sections, roof access and whether nesting debris needs removal. Get a property-specific estimate rather than relying on a flat price per panel.
