PJ Solar provides mobile solar panel cleaning, pigeon cleanup and bird proofing by appointment in Hemet and San Jacinto. Whether you see droppings along the roof or birds disappearing beneath your panels, tell us what you have noticed so we can plan the right inspection.
Birds on the panels—or birds underneath?
A pigeon sitting on top of an array is different from birds entering beneath it. Watch from the ground for the point where they go in. Mention nesting sounds, waste along roof edges, existing mesh or any recent solar work. You do not need to climb onto the roof to request help.
What happens at a bird-proofing inspection?
We assess the array perimeter, roof contours, panel clearance and access. We also check the condition of any existing barrier and the amount of nesting material or droppings involved. The estimate identifies the cleanup and installation scope before work begins. PJ uses Bird-B-Gone mesh and clips fitted around the array.
Panel cleaning is a separate maintenance task
Keeping birds out does not keep panel glass clean. PJ uses DI water only on the glass and recommends cleaning about every six months, adjusted to the conditions at your property. Let us know if your appointment needs both panel cleaning and a bird-proofing inspection.
Prices and scheduling
Standard panel cleaning is $150 for 1–15 panels. Above 15 panels, standard cleaning is $10 per panel. Heavy buildup, overspray removal and applicable travel are quoted separately. Bird proofing requires an on-site inspection before pricing. We confirm appointment availability and any travel charges before booking in Hemet or San Jacinto.
Already have PJ bird proofing?
Annual cleaning and inspection are required to maintain PJ Solar’s five-year labor warranty. Keep service records and tell us if a roofer or solar contractor has moved the mesh since your last visit. A visible opening or birds entering underneath should be reported before the next scheduled inspection.
